The Lutheran Coalition for Habitat for Humanity is selling tickets ($40 each) for their annual fundraiser “Taste of Habitat” taking place on Saturday, September 12, at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 1015 Old Roswell Road, Roswell, GA. Entrées will start at 6:00 PM and desserts at 7:30 PM. Please let Max Epling or Mike Dooley know if you would like more details, tickets, or are interested in volunteering as a chef for this event.
TAKE NOTE! Our card bins are FULL of new greeting cards, with lots of new designs! We also have a new supply of HAND-PAINTED cards, which are generously donated to GSLC by Liane Dolezar, a local Woodstock artist. Please stop by when you have a chance to look at the new card designs in all of the categories: Birthday, Thinking of You, Praying for You, Get Well, Thank You, Sympathy, etc. All donated proceeds support our Good Shepherd Youth Mission trips. This ministry is being hosted by Molly Maher, Linda Rowell, and Pam Hough.
Come on out and spend the evening with us. Our next meeting is August 19th, at 6:30 PM. This is a casual study over dinner of many current topics or questions you never thought to ask. We switch locations each month.
